Problems using ISBN to add item by identifier on Mac

I use Zotero on Windows and I have no problems adding books to my own Zotero library using the ISBN. However several people in my group are using Zotero for Mac, and Zotero fails to recognise most (but not all) of the same books that they try to add by ISBN.

There's no platform difference here.

We'd need a Debug ID from one of them for an attempt that fails to say more.

[JavaScript Error: "www.worldcat.org:443 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

Their network requests — other than to zotero.org domains — are being intercepted, breaking the secure connection. See SSL Certificate Error and Zotero and Firewalls. (The fact that zotero.org domains are working suggests that those have been specifically allowed.)

All functionality in Zotero that requires network requests to non-Zotero domains (e.g., attachment saving) will likely be broken for them until this is fixed.
