Name of University not populating from OPAC

I am trying to generate a bibliography entry for a thesis from a library OPAC using Koha, but it doesn't harvest the name of the University from the bibliographic record. The name of the University is found in tag 502 $c. You're help will very much appreciated!

(though it doesn't look like we're using 502 currently for anything other than identifying that an item *is* a thesis)

Yes, that's what we're referring to -- and I do think this is something we should add, so you don't necessarily have to do this by hand, but always better to have some data/examples to test with

(For reference, here are the details for MARC 502: https://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd502.html -- pretty clear that 502 $c is exactly what we should use for institution for unpublished dissertations. )
