(NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIFile.create]"
And with what can only be described as synchronicity, I got the problem with creating new files :)
JavaScript Error: "[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIFile.create]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/storage.js :: _processZipDownload :: line 807" data: no]" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/storage.js" line: 807}]

firefox 3.5.3 Zotero r5087 Puppy Linux

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Instead of commenting here, you should start a new discussion. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
If it does reappear, I'll send a debug through.
Thanks, Jon.
I did a debug report

and the normal error report
1851642009

Oh and an unrelated PS - is there something a bit wrong with Advanced Search? on both my Puppy and Ubuntu machines, if I do the normal " before a search, it is incredibly slow to respond to the keyboard, almost as though it is doing a normal quick search, just not showing anything. It says Advanced Search, but I think something is a bit awry.
Still getting the [nsIFile.create] error and it seems to think a file is a symlink too. Also a lot of these errors:
[JavaScript Error: “[Exception... “‘Trying to update finished request null/5WEUXKB4 in Zotero.Sync.Storage.Request.onProgress()’ when calling method: [nsIProgressEventSink::onProgress]” nsresult: “0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)” location: “<unknown>” data: no]”]
So error reports:

dumb question: if I check install.rdf all it says 2.0b7.SVN for the version. Is there a way I can tell what version it's running, short of checking the website here
https://www.zotero.org/svn/extension/trunk/

Jon.
