zotero libreoffice plugin is practically unusable when tracking changes

Hi! I have been trying to use Zotero plugin on Libreoffice. It seems that zotero is practically unusable if I have track changes enabled. Every time I insert a citation, zotero re-inserts all citations again in teh document resulting in each citation appearing(e.g. ...previously described[4][4][4][4]) how many ever times I make changes to document.

and no, it is not what I am seeing in track changes. Those citations inserted later persist even when I hide tracked changes.

Does anyone know of a workaround? Thanks!

    Just as an additional note - I have seen this page (http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents)

    It does mention that new versions of Zotero plugin is likely to work with track changes enabled. Is this the case?

    Well, I still encounter the problem of multiplied references with track changes enabled.
