Unable to load translators / styles and no sync login possible
Hello!
Suddenly when I start Zotero it tells me that translators and styles could not be loaded. Strangely I did not change anything with my whole setup.
Error ID: 90143935
Now when I wanted to create this account to create this post I was told to log into Zotero software itself to get the sync option. But when I press *Set up Syncing* I just get the message:
Error connecting to the server. Check your internet connection.
So why should I check my internet connection when I have internet?
Any solutions to any of these 2 problems?
Thanks you very much!

1) You're using a version of Zotero from 2019. You should install the latest version from the download page.
2) You're likely on the old version because there's something wrong with your network configuration — otherwise you'd have been receiving auto-updates for the last few years. (You were able to submit a Report ID, though, so it's possible that only some domains are blocked.) If you're not able to sync or you get other network errors (e.g., when checking for updates manually from the Help menu), see Connection Error.
3) A disk I/O error is a general, unspecified problem with Zotero's ability to access your disk. If you have your Zotero data directory on a network drive or external disk, you should move it back to the local disk to avoid these kinds of problems.
If your data directory is already on a local disk, there may be an actual problem with your disk, and you should check it for errors. It could potentially also be caused by security software interfering with Zotero's ability to access the disk (and security software could also be interfering with the network connection). Restarting your computer might also help.
But with any luck a current version will just work, so try that first.
2) I have been getting these messages for years but our PCs settings are disabling them so we just get the *could not do update* message for years. But for internet connectivity of Zotero it's no problem as I was just using it since 2 years now and for all my colleagues it also works with no problems, as they have the same version.
3) Indeed it is on a network drive, but that was never a problem. And obviously I could never change anything about my installation. Now was shifting it over to the default C it worked.
Now I also want to log in to get that sync function, because when not being on a network folder, I cannot access from home ...
But when trying to log in it tells me:
Error connecting to server. Check your internet connection.
Does that make sense? All online-functions are working.
Any ideas?
And Connection Error is all the information we can provide on the network error.
