iOS: Highlighting bugs
Hi,
I have been using version 1.0.2 for iPad for a few days now and encountered a few, possibly related, highlighting bugs:
First, make a standard yellow highlight, tap it and change its color to any other color, then change it back to yellow. The next highlight will then appear as a darker more saturated yellow (unreadable in dark mode). Closing the pdf and re-opening it resolves the problem. This is reproducible for me and happens every time.
Second, after making a yellow highlight, changing its color to say blue, and making another highlight (still with yellow selected in the top menu) the highlights appear with the darker (than standard) blue color. Opening the left side notes panel the highlight has right color (the colored vertical line). Changing to dark mode, the highlight also appears in the right color (yellow), but changing back to light mode goes back to the wrong dark blue color. This is reproducible for me and happens every time. To make things more interesting, changing the zoom level can sometimes change back and forth between the correct and wrong color.. Again, closing the pdf and reopening it resolves the problem.
Third, once after making a multiline highlight the whole colored block shrank in horisontal size as to leave a few characters un-highlighted both on the left and right side of the text block. This I have not been able to reproduce.

Thanks for developing an iPad app with a nice feel, and an actually usable dark mode(!), decided to switch from Readcube Papers in less than ten minutes. :)

ulf.granBump - a fix of these bugs would be much appreciated

dstillmanWe can reproduce. It's just a display issue — as you say, it goes away as soon as you close and reopen the PDF. We'll investigate — thanks.
