removing attachments

I have looked in the documentation, but can't seem to find instructions on how to remove attachments (either because they were attached in error or because the location has changed). There must be something simple, but it is not immediately apparent how to do this. Thanks for any quick help.

    Click on the minus sign to the right of the attachment in the attachments tab for the item, or click on the arrow next to the item in the middle column to show all attachments and then highlight the unwanted attachment and hit the delete key.
