Lists / Pulldowns = Sluggish

I have noticed that in 2.0+, the self-generating pulldown/matching lists (or whatever you call them) have become extremely sluggish. It can take forever to match a publisher name or place of publication in the manual entry fields, for instance. Any ideas?

I searched various terms before posting, but found no discussion of this issue.

    What's "forever"? How many items do you have in your library? (Select All and look in right pane.)

    Forever is 15+ seconds. I have 2912 items in library. Mark

    To the best of my recollection, it was not like this until ver 2. My library is increasing in size, however. Is my library too big in your opinion, Dan?

    no, it's biggish but certainly not too big - people have bigger libraries. These lists tend to be sluggish, but more in the 3sec category - 15sec are quite extreme and obviously not-acceptable for you.
