What is the correct way to convert MARCXML to RIS?

Is there a specification for the corret conversion from MARCXML to RIS
I want to import somedata from my local Library
Currently MARC 100$d is part of the AU tag is this correct or is this a Bug ?

    There's no standard conversion. MARC is pretty well standardized (though somewhat less so in application), RIS is poorly standardized.

    I don't quite understand the motivation if your question, but if you are saying authors' life dates are appearing in RIS, that's definitely not correct. It's unclear to me where in this you are and aren't using Zotero. Pretty sure we don't import 100$d from MARC though

    Zotero can import from MARC XML and export to RIS. So the workflow is just to import the items to Zotero, then re-export them
