How to add "Accessed Date" when exporting biblography using MLA 9?

The online resources in my bibliography are not showing up with the "Accessed" field at the end of the citation despite the field auto-filling within Zotero. I am using MLA 9. Is there a way to append the Accessed date at the end of my sources so they follow the recommendation of having an Accessed date?

Are you sure MLA9 wants access dates.
In the style I see a note that points at p. 53 of the guidelines that states that accessed dates are only given if no issued date is available. And that's how it's implemented in our style.

I was following the advice given by Purdue Owl in their MLA 9 formatting guide in which they say, "When you cite an online source, the MLA Handbook recommends including a date of access on which you accessed the material, since an online work may change or move at any time." But if the official guide recommends against it, then there should be no problem.

Purdue OWL’s MLA and APA pages include a bunch of inaccuracies for the current versions of the manuals, so definitely look to the official sources
