let me know if you need debug output

Regards, Jon
  • A Debug ID for a sync attempt that triggers this would be great. Thanks.
  • hmm, tried using the built in debug output -

    The Debug ID is D851872894.

I seem to have got the spinning wheel of death and stuck on number of logged lines - but checking report errors it seems to have hit the relevant problem.

Let me know if that did or didn't work, and if not, I'll run it from the terminal.

    Regards, Jon.

HI Dan, well good news: r5126 seems to have solved this problem. I've successfully synced between my laptop running Puppy linux and my desktop using Ubuntu.
Minor niggle: there do seem to be some 'phantom' downloading and repeated downloads of files that haven't changed, but it's only about 10megs so I'm counting this as a success.

    Regards, Jon.

r5126 should address this issue. It could happen if an HTML snapshot file was renamed and synced on one computer but the renamed file wasn't synced, and so the ZIP downloaded from the server didn't contain a file with the known name. It now logs and then ignores the issue, which means you'd have missing files on one side until the other side synced, but that's better than an error that stops the sync.

Let me know if you have further trouble.

    Edit: What you said.
