RE: Adding/Deleting bullet points in the Notes editor

The ability to add/delete bullet points or numbers seems to have disappeared in Version 6.0. Is there any way to get it back?

Those are available from the Aa menu, and you can also now use Markdown syntax.

Is there a way to add the bullet point option to the top line of the note instead of the drop-down list? Or, is there a way to create a shortcut?

As I say, you can use Markdown syntax — see the linked documentation. E.g., typing - or * plus space at the beginning of the line will start an unordered list.
