Sync failed between MacOS and iOS

Hi,

I installed Zotero 6 but sync doesn't work. Metadata gets synchronised but without notes. There is a repeated report on Ipad "Sync failed. response status code 400", or something like that. Is there anything that can be done here?

That Debug ID doesn't show a sync. Can you try again? You can trigger a sync while logging is running by pulling down on the items list.

Also, what exactly do you mean by "notes"? Zotero notes, or PDF annotations?

Yes, annotations are not available on my desktop Zotero when I read on IPad.

We still need a Debug ID for the sync that triggers the error.

This is the new one D1330244324. But this notification appears many times, so maybe ID also changes constantly.

No, we need a Debug ID that shows you triggering a sync while logging is happening. Again, you can trigger a sync by pulling down on the items list.

Sorry for being lost here but I don’t know how to get Debug ID. When I refresh the list of items, only that uploaded notification appears, nothing more. Is it somewhere in the Options menu?

See the Debug ID. You need to start debug output logging, perform the relevant action, and then submit the output. You just submitted an empty log that didn't show you trying to sync.

@djunda29 is this issue persisting for you in newer versions? If it does, can you try logging it again with the latest version of Zotero in app store (or beta)?
