Inking in pdf on iPad produces too many notes

I tried the ipad version writing one line on a pdf file with apple pencil. On the left side of the page, it, however, produces too many seperate notes, some of which contain only a single stroke.

I removed these notes in the laptop version of zotero (turned out that I had to delete them one by one in more than one minute). Now in iPad, I got many warning messages: "Warning: The item "" has been removed. Do you want to keep your changes?" Still keeping popping out and have no idea how many times to go...

Would that be possibly due to sync? After writing, it was ok first, then after a few seconds it broke into pieces.

i meet this problem too. what’s more, after i write something, sometimes part of the ink will be copied to a new note. after i resized the window, this part cloned itself to 2 more same notes, very confusing.

OK, I can reproduce this — seems to be a regression from a recent change. We'll fix this for the next update.

This should be fixed for new ink annotations in 1.0.1, available now. Merging previously split annotations won't work properly yet — they'll be re-split — but we'll try to fix that for the next version.
