Zotero with M1 Mac and Safari 15. Is there really no way for an extension?
Hi. I'm quite new to this kind of software. When I started my second life university time last year I thought it would become very cool.
But I guess my M1 Mac needs to become very old because obviously there are no easy ways to use Zotero, no extensions, no plugins not even a useful documentation. Or maybe it is a good hidden secret.
I would need it for my papers right now, but I guess I need to buy an old second hand pc and then invest a few years to get used to this problems.
I am very desperate and afraid I have to use the good old Zettelkasten.

Zotero works perfectly fine on M1 Macs, and the lack of a Safari extension in the release version has nothing to do with Apple Silicon. As explained on Safari Compatibility, there's a macOS bug that has made the Safari extension unstable, and so we've kept it on the Zotero beta channel. We may make it available in the production release soon, however.
You can either use the Zotero Connector for Safari from the Zotero beta for now or use the Zotero Connector in another browser.
