Missing language from interface locale

I just had to reinstall Zotero on my laptop and I see that the user interface locale is no longer supporting Greek. My OS (Win10) language is Greek and my desktop installation does have the option to use Greek for the user interface. How can I restore the Zotero settings so as to make the user interface in Greek?

Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced (tab) -> Language (drop down)

"Automatic" (default option) should pick up your system language, if for some reason it doesn't you can explicitly set it to "Ελληνικά" from that drop-down.
  • Also from what I can tell support for Greek language was added fairly recently so it may only appear in Zotero Beta. If you do decide to install beta please read all details on the linked page (i.e. you probably want to backup zotero.sqlite before proceeding)
  • Thank you so much for the prompt response. I did not notice that my desktop installation is the Beta 6 version. This is why Greek does not appear in the drop-down list on my laptop (5.0.96.3).
  • Hello, I just installed Zotero 7.0.4. There is no drop-down menu for language selection in the advanced settings. In "Language and region", there is only a tick mark "Enable bidirectional text editing utilities". Does anyone know how to change the language, please?
  • In Zotero 7, Language is at the top of the General tab.
