"Zotero experienced an error updating your document"

I'd like to report a bug
I am using Zotero 5.0.97-beta.53+f583416d8
When I insert a citation in an endnote, I often receive this error message ""Zotero experienced an error updating your document"
And the citation is not inserted.
What I have found is that only if there is space to the right of the citation it will not happen and the citation will be inserted
("end note number) citation" -> error
"(end note number) citation _" (space) ->success

Does this happen if you insert a citation directly from text, or only when inserting into an existing endnote?

Directly from text. I get the error message and the document has an empty citation field, which I cannot edit and have to delete

Does citing in footnotes work fine for you?
