"Error: setState" with empty error message.

Hey,

I recently reformatted my D:/ drive, where the Zotero library is located. I deleted the whole partition and copied the files back on from my backup after reformatting.

Since then, I get a an Error message "Error: setState" in the internal pdf viewer- Under message, no error message is displayed. I can see the pdf, close the Error message, but it will immediately come back after scrolling down a bit.

I ran a debugging and triggered the error. The debug ID is D983526714.

Would appreciate any help.

    That's a permissions problem in your Zotero data directory. Zotero needs read and write permissions to everything in that directory. You'll need to fix this on your system — it's not a problem in Zotero.

    Hm. I didn't change a thing with permissions though. What's fixing the issue (for a specific pdf) is pulling the file out of the storage folder and then copying it back in. That's of course not something i wanna do for all files... Do you have any idea how I could fix this globally (I'm on a Win 10 machine).

    * by "copying back in" I mean drag-dropping the PDF into the Zotero entry to attach the file again.
