Zotero file (incl. PDFs) collection to evernote?
Hi,
I have a collection of journal articles (>>100 articles) in my Zotero library in different folders from my time at school.
I would like to transfer the files (journal information, notes, and PDFs) to Evernote somehow (preferably individually, rather than a >1GB file).
I have tried the export function in Zotero to export a file to evernote into a folder onto my desktop which then transfers it to evernote as an enex file which is approximately 619kb in size and cannot be opened when clicked on. Clearly the pdf is not involved.
I'm obviously missing something, so I am looking for a clue as to what is possible.
Or, is this just a dream...
Thanks,
Mark

I am consolidating my reference material into Evernote, and want to bring my PDFs from Zotero into Evernote.
I'm just looking for way not to have to do it individually, but understand it seems like a unique/challenging situation.
I'm not going to write papers in the future, so actual bibliography info is not important going forward.
1. Do you have everything in My Library, or also Group Libraries?
2. Do you have collections/folders whose structure you want to keep, or just one big batch of PDFs?
(Personally, I would suggest continuing with Zotero for storing articles even if you don’t need the citation features because being able to search by title/tags/authors/etc can still be incredibly useful, as well as Zotero’s ability to have one copy of an item exist in multiple collection folders at a time. If you’d like some tips on connecting a Zotero library with Evernote, I can help there too.)
I have a folder structure that I wouldn't mind keeping if possible. Otherwise with the tags of Evernote, I can make it work.
That's a good idea regarding the continuing with Zotero. I have a subscription that expires later this year, but maybe I'll keep i for backup. Thanks!
