style manager - No one style seems to fit requirements for my institution
No one style fits the requirements of my institution :(
I have tried to use the 'Preferences' in 'Edit' to select a style for different types of documents but it doesn't seem to save against the record that I have highlighted.
I would need to use 'Cite then right 11th edition-harvard' for 'Item type - report' but I need to use 'King's College London - Harvard' for 'Item type - journal article'. Is there a way to do this, or if there a way to tweak a style within the 'Style Manager'?

See here for a guide to editing styles yourself https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/STYLE_DEVELOPMENT.md
For me the 'King's College London - Harvard' style is generally fine, but for 'Item Type - Report' I just need the 'Report Number' to show in the bibliography. Are there some instructions just for adding a field to show?
I'm not overly tech savvy but I can try and give the editing style a go :S
You'll want to add the variable "number".
You can either start a new style request thread as linked to by bwiernik above (you can choose to simply outline the changes to Chicago author-date rather than provide the examples: but make sure to also cover other item types than journal articles in that case) or you can work with the visual editor, which lets you click on elements at the top right to identify the relevant sections in the CSL structure. Again, any specific issues you run into, post to a new thread.
