Bibliography Style using Turabian 8th

Good morning,
I have auto-filled the bibliography section of my thesis, only to find that, where an author’s name is repeated, three dashes appear instead of a continuous line. How do I change this, please? Many thanks in advance!

That's by design in the style and according to guidelines.
You'd need to change to a different style or edit the Turanian citation style if you wanted to remove that.
If that's what you want we can explain how.

Thank you very much for replying. Submission is tomorrow so there is some urgency :-). The university style is based on Turabian 8th but with a couple of adaptations, one of which is the use of an "8 space line" to replace an author's name when two or more books of theirs are listed in the bibliography. I would be grateful for any advice on how to edit the Turabian 8th style.

It's an easy change.
Open the style and search for the line, towards the end, that starts with bibliography....
There you'll find the setting for subsequent author replacement. Delete that part.

You'll also need to change the name and ID of the style as explained here: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step

Don't spend more than 10min on this if it doesn't work. I'll make the change for you later once I get back to my PC.
