After latest update yesterday (5.0.97-beta.63+035aac30f) icon in taskbar missing

I had this issue a while ago when I made the switch to Linux, but it somehow resolved itself and I'm pretty sure I hadn't done anything.

Then for several months the icon was there as usual and now after the automatic update yesterday, the icon is missing again. The about section tells me my current version is "5.0.97-beta.63+035aac30f". Nothing else has changed. I have restarted my PC.

Any ideas? This just makes navigating programs a little less convenient.

Do you mean in your browser? The Zotero client whether beta or not is unrelated, you have to install the Zotero Connector for that.

You will have to troubleshoot this yourself. The icons there are controlled by your Linux distribution. Zotero updating should have no effect on them.
