Problem Using Zotero with Chrome Remote Desktop

I use Zotero on a remote computer (both computers use the latest version of Windows). When I connect to the remote computer using Microsoft Remote Desktop, everything works fine. However, when I connect using Chrome Remote Desktop, the Zotero window is just white. It looks like the data is all there, but it is just not rendering. Clicking does not help, but right-clicking will bring up the usual little message window. If I leave Chrome Remote Desktop and connect using Windows Remote Desktop, then come back to Chrome Remote Desktop, some of the items in Zotero are visible, and the menus flip open, but still nothing substantial works. Closing Zotero and reopening it brings back the all white window. Any thoughts? Please don't tell me just to use Windows Remote Desktop. I will if that is my only option, but I prefer Chrome Remote Desktop for reasons that are not relevant here. Also, closing and re-opening the applications does not help.
  • If Chrome Remote Desktop doesn't properly work with a program that works correctly locally and via Microsoft Remote Desktop, that would be a problem with Chrome Remote Desktop.
