Upgrade StorageHelp migrating a library

I am using Zotero 5.0.96.3 on Kubuntu 20.04 LTS. I am migrating an old library from a backup and can't get Zotero to see it. The old backup is from a Windows 7 install and an unknown version of Zotero. For reaons I'm not going to ho inyo I have not used Zotero in a bit. I do however have a huge library and don't want to loose it. I have manually migrated my Zotero Library many times in the past with no problems. However this yime I can't get anything to work. I set the location in preferences but Zotero comes up a clean install and see's none of the old files. Absolutely nothing. What could I be doing wrong? Worst case, is there a way of recovering the PDFs I've stored so I can rebuild the library again?

dstillmanWhen you press Show Data Directory in the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences, what's the size of the zotero.sqlite file in the folder that comes up?
