Upgrade StorageProblems Importing from Citavi 6 to Zotero (Report-ID 877894900)
I tried to import a Citavi-collection, using the instructions in the Zotero documentation (rename the .ctv6 file into a .xml file,...). The process stops with error and in the zotero-library appears only a empty folder named "Mendeley Import...".
The system is a Dell notebook with Intel Core i7-4810MQ processor, 16 gb RAM running on Windows 10 Pro 21H2.
Are there modifications at the xml file necessary or are there other options for a functioning import?

adamsmithHow large is the library? Might just be a memory issue.

gruenkoppThe library is quite small (1.12 Mb). I also tried to import the test file from your post on december 30, 2020 (https://gist.github.com/zuphilip/76ce89ebbdac0386507b36cff3fd499a). This xml-file has nearly the same size and the import work well on my system. It seems that there´s anything wrong with the source file from my citavi projekt.

dstillmanedited December 12, 2021@gruenkopp: It looks like you're trying to import an SQLite file (a database), not an XML file (a backup file).
