issues with suffixes 'a' 'b' and even 'c' in in-text citations with APA7

Hi,
While I know the author has no other publication in the same year, during the in-text citation, zotero puts in a, b and c after the in-text citation. I tried to remove and add the reference in as new one. I merged duplicates. The problem is still there. How can I get this problem fixed?

    Click the Refresh button in the Zotero tab in Word. If the suffixes remain, then the likely issue is that one or more citations are disconnected from your Zotero library (eg, if you deleted items instead of merging) or you have cited the same item from different group libraries. Go through your document and systematically delete the citation and reinsert from your library so that the same copy is cited consistently.

    I have already tried the suggestion you made with one of the citations and in the end it came up only with a. No b or c this time

    Try to change to a different style and back.
