Upgrade StorageRetrieve metadata and Add item by identifier both not working?
Have been trying to retrieve metadata for about a dozen PDFs I added to my library earlier today, but after "Processing" for a long time it then fails with the message: "error"
If I try to add the parent items one at a time using the DOI it fails with the message: "Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again"
I know, however, these are valid DOI's because a simple search/entering the address into a web browser works successfully.
For instance, the following DOI's produce the "could not find a record" error (these are for the same pdfs that Metadata retrieval fails):
10.1111/evo.13048
10.1128/mSystems.00608-20
10.1098/rsbl.2019.0744
10.1186/s12866-020-01845-0
(also note that it doesn't seem to matter whether the DOI is entered exactly as above or preceded with "https://doi.org/", it fails in both cases)
Surprisingly, at least one other DOI does work (although it's for the supplementary materials of one of the papers):
https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.c.4814022

Our PDF recognizer service is back online, but DOI lookups from Crossref are still failing, so PDF metadata retrieval and Add Item by Identifier attempts that depend on DOI information may not work for several more hours.
