APA Style Refernce 'On the Fly'

Is it possible to get a quick reference to a website generated in APA 'On the Fly' without having to 'export'? I would like to have just one single entry generated for a specific page that I might be on in order to 'manually' copy/paste to my bib without the need for exporting...

thanks.

  • .... and i noticed my spelling is terrible!! :)
  • If you have the latest version of Zotero (1.0.0b4.r5), you can drag-and-drop an item into any text field or use a shortcut key to copy a reference to the clipboard. See the Export tab of the Zotero prefs, located under the Actions (gear icon) menu.
  • Ok.. thank you!

  • It would be nice to be able to drag-and-drop short references as well--right now I can copy a footnote reference when I choose Chicago note style "without Bibliography" but if I choose Chicago "with Bibliography" I can only copy the bibliographic reference, whereas what I need is a short footnote reference that comes with that style.
