Zotero not working with Google Docs on Chromebook

Zotero does not work through Google docs using a chromebook.
Could it be my broadband?

Make sure you've followed these instructions:

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/installing_on_a_chromebook

The Zotero Connector won't work at all on a Chromebook (including for saving from webpages) without the extra port-forwarding step.
