    Dragging an attachment item from Zotero to an outside folder should copy the associated file, not move it. Moving it wouldn't make any sense, since there's still an attachment item. What exactly do you mean by "disappear"? What's disappearing?

    If you do right-click → Show File first and then just drag the file, that will of course move it, since that's just a normal filesystem folder, and dragging between two folders will move by default.

    Note that, depending on what you use for email, you may be able to drag the attachment item straight to your mail client. (If that doesn't work with your mail client, you'd have to use Show File first instead.)

    另外，刚才测试时候我又发现了2个BUG。

    1、如果拖动文件到桌面上的一个文件夹，而不是直接拖到桌面，默认是你所说的复制粘贴一份，这很好，我要的就是这个。但如果拖到桌面，库里的文件就会消失。就是之前我反映的问题。这两种行为不一致，容易给人造成困扰。建议拖到桌面时，也改为复制粘贴一份。

    2、关于txt文件，如果这个文件是个空文件，没有任何内容，那么，拖动这个文件不起作用，无法成功。如果里面有文字内容，那么会拖动成功。这可能是一个BUG

    Yes, of course I've watched the videos. I'm trying to explain to you that what you're showing is not Zotero's normal behavior. It's happening to you but not everyone else, so for us to debug it, we need a Debug ID, which is a basic troubleshooting step that we ask of many people here every day in order to get more technical information on the problem they're experiencing. If you're having trouble understanding the instructions, that's fine, but then you'll need to ask someone else to translate it for you, because we can't help you further without a Debug ID.

    Note that I can reproduce the problem with the empty text file on Windows. That's very weird, and we'll investigate that. But the problem with the files disappearing is not something I can reproduce, and if that were a general problem we'd have many more reports of it. So I'm asking for a Debug ID from you to help us try to figure out why it's happening to you.

    I don't recall any reports of this from Windows 7, but if you have the option of upgrading to Windows 10 or 11, that'd be the first thing to try. Note that Microsoft mostly stopped supporting Windows 7 many years ago, so it's not really a current OS that should be used. We still list compatibility with it, but we wouldn't spend time debugging an issue like this on Windows 7 at this point. If you can reproduce this in Windows 10 or 11, we can look into it further.

    Again, I can reproduce the empty-file problem on Windows 10, so we will try to fix that.
