Style: Spanish legal

I have submitted a standard style for quotations in Spanish legal journals. I assume it will also be useful for Latin-American legal researchers. I will appreciate any feedback.

    The style is great. I found one bug, there is no delimiter for multiple citations in one footnote. It can be fixed by replacing the layout tag ( <layout suffix="."> ) in the citation section with:

    <layout prefix="" suffix="." delimiter="; ">

    I don't know how to post this fix in the repository.

    Was going to take care of this, but it looks like my access privileges to svn have been revoked. Someone from the core team should be able to help, though.

    Indeed! I must have lost a setting locally, and then used a bad URL when trying to do a fresh checkout. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    I've made the requested change to the sp-legal.csl style, and checked it into the repository.

    Wow! That was quick.

    Would be nice if you also updated the date in the info section. Some users may not realize that it was updated.

    @jack1982 Thanks for pointing this out. The checkin machinery in the repository now seems to maintain the date automagically, unless it is explicitly written into the field in the CSL as checked in (?). I've stripped the old 2008 timestamp from the <update/> node, and it seems to be showing today's date in the distributed file now.

    Creative Commons. The styles are primarily licensed under the CC-BY-SA license. Zotero needs some sort of license declaration by the creator, or else it doesn't have any legal basis for distributing someone else's work.

    REading your posts in this section, I installed Spanish Legal and change es-SP and es ES.

    I am trying to have al the date (once it is an article taken from a newspaper), month and year with Chicago or Spanish Legal. The problem is in Spanish Legal day and month does not appear as:
    “CARRERA ATLÉTICA ANTONIO BLANCO BECERRA”, El Sol de San Luis, 2005.
    Same citation in Chicago style, date appears which is almost ok, but day is switched after the month, and month appears in English:

    “Carrera atlética Antonio Blanco Becerra,” El Sol de San Luis, December 18, 2005.

    What can I do? thanks,

    In Chicago style, how does a citation for an edited book look like? Do you get terms like "edited by" in English or Spanish?

    it appears in English like:

    Agüera, Enrique. “Retos y perspectivas de la educación superior en México.” In La disputa por la educación. Por el México que queremos, 15–54. edited by Agüera Ibáñez and Emilio Zebadúa. México: Santillana; Aguilar, 2011.

    you should be able to switch your locale to Spanish to get both Spanish terms and Spanish dates using Chicago style:
