I have a pop-up saying "Zotero could not make a secure connection.zoteroproxycheck.s3.amazonaws.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate does not come from a trusted source. Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_V1_CERT_USED_AS_CA. Functionality that depends on an internet connection may not work."
I followed the steps about certificate validity, shut down my Mac, restarted my Mac, and am not sure what to try next. I am trying to manage the styles in Zotero and specifically get additional styles so that I can export my bibliography with the annotations.

dstillmanedited October 20, 2021Is this an institutional computer? This could happen if something is intercepting your secure connections. See SSL Certificate Error for the general problem. Zotero's actual certificate is fine, but this could be a problem with your proxy server or network security software. The linked page explains how to check the certificate info.
