What it says in the popup when you try to save?: An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting the translator for more information.
  • What version of the Connector and Zotero do you have installed? What browser are you using?
  • I'm also having this challenge. My Zotero version is version 5, the connector would the most recent. And I have tried using Firefox, Opera and Chrome, but have the same issue of not being able to get PDFs
  • @damiana_leyva: That article's DOI isn't resolvable, so there's nothing Zotero can do here. It looks like it didn't have a DOI to begin with and JSTOR assigned it one but neglected to properly register it. We're working on returning a more informative error message when no DOIs on the page are resolvable, but the issue itself can't be fixed on our end.

@kenitimi: Please post a link to the page where you're encountering an issue. Is it also with the DOI translator? In other words, when you hover over the Zotero Connector toolbar icon on that page, does the tooltip say "Save to Zotero (DOI)"?
  • I should add, though, that you can get around this particular problem by adding the paper from JSTOR's own site (which gives us its metadata directly). You won't automatically get a PDF if you don't have access to it.
