Zotero Connector Not Connecting

Zotero Connector is loaded as an extension to Chrome, but I am unable to authorize it so it will function. Have removed all other extensions. Hae removed and downloaded several times.

    What do you mean by "unable to authorize it so it will function"?

    You don't need to "authorize" anything to use the Zotero Connector — if you're referring to the button in the preferences, that's not something you need to worry about in normal usage. The Connector just saves to the desktop app as long as the desktop app is open. If the desktop app isn't open, the Connector will ask to open it or let you choose to save directly to the web library.

    No, those errors are typically inconsequential. Can you answer dstillman's question above? What exactly are you trying to do and what's not working?

    Nothing is working with Connector to Chrome. I have now reloaded both Zotero and Connector. No change. Word is talking with Zotero. Chrome is not talking with Zotero, but shows the Connector as an Extension in Chrome.

    This thread can be closed. I solved it by pinning the Zotero icon to the Chrome banner. Thank you to adamsmith and dstillman for taking time to respond. Yvonne
