Bug - Citations offset typing in Google Docs
When I insert a citation, a little green checkmark shows up beside the citation. The issue is that this little checkmark will "trick" the cursor into being offset. I will click on a word to change, but when I start typing, I am inserting the word halfway through a different sentence.
I know it's these little checkmarks causing this bug because unlinking Zotero removes the checkmarks and everything functions normally. Is there any way to disable the checkmarks?

dstillmanCan you take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox or Google Drive), and provide a link here? I'm not sure what checkmark you're referring to.

adamsmithAnd are you running any other Google docs add-ons? Could the green checkmark be due to those?

OwenFergusonedited September 29, 2021It was a bug created by my Antivirus software. It was takin each citation as a website and marking it as safe.
