Classic view options - inserting by publication and date
Hi, I'm using Zotero to insert a large number of newspaper articles into a Word doc (on a Mac, using Safari plug-in). Until yesterday, I could click on add citation in Word, then choose classic view, and expand the taps at the top to find references by publication/newspaper name and publication date, rather than article title and author (which aren't as helpful in the context). Does anyone know what might have changed in my settings and how to get those options back? Many thanks

adamsmithAre you using the beta version of Zotero?

Kerstin LederMackleyYes, I think so as the safari plug in stopped working at some point, and beta was the only option. However, as I said, it did work with this version until yesterday.

adamsmithThis has also changed in the main interface: You can now add the publication date (and other columns) to the available columns using right-click (ctrl+click; two-finger click depending on your Mac set-up) on any of the column headers

Kerstin LederMackleyThanks so much, that's done the trick. Problem solved! (:
