Sync: Note too long

Running 5.0.97-beta.43+c5d89f6d0 (with connector beta, zotfile,mdnotes,better biblatex,zutilo all on latest).

I imported a book PDF File to bib and extracted the annotations (big one 215.KB text only), everything is ok.

But sync remarks, that "note $S is too long for sync and it should be shortened." Two questions, why too long because it works in the local Zotero db and whats the max lenght for an annotation/note in Zotero?

    As a general rule, the local Zotero app doesn't put limits on things, so that you never lose data while saving. The online library has limits to maintain performance, and those are enforced on sync, giving you the opportunity to correct them without losing data.

    You should just split the note into multiple parts (e.g., for different chapters).

    Thanks for your explanation. I extract annotations as one note file and export all to Obsidian. It works with splitted notes also. Great.
