Retrieve Metadata

I have been using Zotero for a few years and have imported lots of PDF files either by downloading followed by drag and drop or by using the Zotero connector button in my Firefox browser. For the last few weeks I have been unable to retrieve their metadata. For some reason it doesn't work anymore. Is there something I should know about and I don't?

    Can we see a Debug ID for an attempt to retrieve metadata that you think should work but doesn't?

    Error connecting to server. Check your Internet connection.
    You just don't have a working internet connection in Zotero (which is presumably why you had to email the debug output). That will cause all sorts of things not to work. See Connection Error.

    Problem has been fixed by running an antivirus on my computer. Thanks for the quick response!
