Quotationmarks and interpunctuation

Wonderful tool!
I, however, have one problem: I need Swedish quotationmarks and interpunctuation!
That means "closing quotes" only, and commas and full stops outside the quotes.
Is this possible? I'm afraid that I am a lousy programmer...
  • the type of quotation mark should come with the locale of your firefox - i.e. if you have a Swedish Firefox you should have Swedish quotation marks (as well as Swedish expressions for "Editors", "In" etc.
The interpunctuation isn't yet possible, but will be in the future.
  • OK, then there might be a bug somewhere, as I do have a Swedish Firefox, and also Swedish Word 2007, but still have English quotation marks. Swedish expressions are used in some styles, but not all. I guess they might be programmed wrong?

I will be waiting impatiently for the interpunctuation then. :)
  • yeah, that depends on the styles - not all styles do this right. The quotation marks might just not be right for the Swedish locale, that's very much possible.
  • Thank you for your quick answers!

Do you know how I can alert the programmers to the problem with the wrong quotation marks for the Swedish locale? I'm guessing I can't change this myself?
  • The new CSL processor that is being developed for Zotero will support both localization of quotes and interpunctuation. Zotero currently supports neither feature.
  • sorry about that - I thought I had seen French quotes in the past.

Ah, right. I was referring to automatic localization when using 'quotes="true"'. You can already add quotes manually by setting them as prefixes and suffixes. You would have to escape them though (http://www.xmlnews.org/docs/xml-basics.html#references).
