PDF management

I use Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090401 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Shiretoko/3.5b4pre

1.- I can't drag and drop pdf files to the library. Permanently.
2- Working with library when I select a pdf file to show, the application crashes, asking me for restart firefox. This happens no all the times is a random failure.

Can you help me?

    1. is a known issue, see here: http://www.zotero.org/support/known_issues (or following the link the the 1.5b issues.

    2. I think there are still some FF (and similar's) 3.5b issues - generally under jaunty this works fine.

    The proces of download PDF and link to reference works with wrrors asking me to restart firefox due to a zotero issue.

    Generate a new error report after reproducing the error and before restarting Firefox.

    At the time of your previous error report, you were getting a "file access denied" error creating a directory in the ''storage" directory within your Zotero data directory, so you might want to check your file permissions. (We discovered the other day that Zotero doesn't give a proper error message in that case.)

    melcior - is that the same error as above? Did you check the permissions on your storage directory? You need to provide a lot more information and context for your error reports to be useful.

    My storage directory had full permissions. I sended a new error report 1173464355
    When a new pdf is attached to a reference zotero hangs and i need to restart mozilla to continue my work.
    What kind of additionalinformation should I provide to help fix the problem?

    You're still getting an access denied error when Zotero tries to create the directory in 'storage'. Check your permissions again. There's nothing Zotero can do if it can't write to the directory.
