Can we modifiy the meta-infomation by directly pasting bib infomation

In zotero, most meta-data retrieved for these articles are from Arxive, which is not a proper biblyography sitation if you want make a formal publication. Suppose I can find the bib infomation for this article from other sources, can we paste it anywhere to correct the stored meta-infomation?

    I'm not sure what you mean here. Can you provide a specific example and say more about what you mean?

    In latex, I can directly modify the bib infomation in the .bib file, can I copy and paste this code to modify meta-infomation in zotero, instead of modifying each attribute in the info page?

    No. You can create a new item (via import from clipboard) and then merge the two, though.
