Note counted where there is none

I chose to show a column with with the number of notes I have in a file (rightmost one). In some cases, it counts one note where there is none. Hoew can I fix this?

    Probably an embedded note on the attachment item

    How do I deal with that? It is important to me to know which files I commented on because that proves I've already worked with them

    Just click on the attachment under that item and look in the right-hand pane. If there's a note, you (or some tool you used, such as ZotFile) added it.
