My Zotero Word plug-in disappeared suddenly

Hi there,

Since the beginning of this month,my Zotero Word plug-in completly from any of my Word documents. I'm not sure what happened but I have tried to reinstall it by downloading the standalone version or install the plug-in manually,but unsuccessfully.
I am a month away from submitting my dissertation therefore it would mean a lot if I could find a quick solution.

    Hi thanks for quick response,

    So I firstly tried to reactivate it from the standalone version :

    1) Closed all word tabs
    2) Opened the Zotero library
    3) Clicked on 'Edits' then 'Preferences'
    4) Clicked on 'Cite'
    5) From there I clicked on the button that said 'reactivate Zotero word plugin' (even though it was already activated)
    6) Opened Word again yet nothing changed.

    Then I tried with the 'Tools' section

    1) Closed all word tabs
    2) Opened the Zotero library
    3) Clicked on 'Tools'
    4) Went to 'Extensions'
    5) Enabled the Word plug-in extension (altough it was also already enabled)
    6) Opened Word and nothing changed

    At last,I tried to reinstall it manually following carefully the steps found here : https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation

    The thing is the xtensions\zoteroWinWordIntegration@zotero.org\install was already in my Word startup folder.

    Can you be more precise? What exactly did you do to determine this?

    And then there are additional steps you haven't followed.

    Oh when I open my Word startup folder the Word integration folder was already there.

    What I am trying to say is that it looked like everything should be working fine yet I don't see the Word plug-in in my Word docs.
    Hope this makes sense.

    I don't know what you mean by this, but it sounds incorrect — there shouldn't be a folder within your startup folder. We'll need you to be more specific. You can also take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox, Google Docs), and post a link here.

    What i meant is that the Zotero.dotm was in the startup folder from my first downloading Zotero.

    I can't see the bottom section you are referring to.

    Whatever I do there's still no sign of the Zotero plugin in my word,could you please give solutions?

    The Zotero add-in had been desactived accidently from Word
