Undo deleting a collection?

Inadvertently deleting a collection creates consequences, because simply undeleting individual files from the trash doesn't bring back the sub-collection structure.

I don't think there is an easy way of undoing the deletion of a collection that will revive the previous sub-collection structure too, or am I missing something?

    If you just did this, you can restore from the last automatic backup.

    The ability to undelete collections and searches is coming soon.

    I just recently updated my Zotero to version 5.0.96.1 and seem to have a missing collection. Everything else is still there, except this one collection. All of the items in the collection are now in "unfiled items." Don't know if I happened to delete this collection on accident, or if this is a bug with the new update!

    @strachtenberg: Yes, that would be something you did — an update would never do that. See above for a link to restore instructions.
