Suddenly, database upgrade errors on two Ubuntu 20.04 machines

Database upgrade error

Error: Error(s) encountered during statement execution: database disk image is malformed [QUERY: SELECT COUNT(*) > 0 FROM fulltextItemWords WHERE itemID NOT IN (SELECT itemID FROM items WHERE itemTypeID=14)] [PARAMS: ] [ERROR: database disk image is malformed]

A few weeks ago I copied my Zotero database from a university-owned laptop to a new home workstation and I have been adding web page snapshots and papers that aren't related to work with Zotero. Recently it started giving the error message above. I didn't do much to try to fix it because it's not urgent.

Today the same thing happened on my work laptop and I need to fix it. I reinstalled Zotero, shut the laptop down and restarted it, and it still gives the error.

I'm wondering why the message mentions chrome when I always use Firefox.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan
