[JavaScript Application] An error occurred generating your bibliography. Please try again

Hello,

I've used Zotero for many years but I'm running into the above error when I try to generate a bibliography. I am also on a deadline. I am using version 4.0.29.15 on a Macbook Pro.

I've closed and restarted the program. I've restarted my computer.

Any helpful suggestions?

    I found the solution. I upgraded to 5.0 and now it works fine. Why doesn't this upgrade happen automatically though, as my settings would have it?

    It should have happened automatically and likely will going forward.
