editor repeated in Chicago

While using the Chicago style with in MS Word 2003 for Windows XP, I am encountering a glitch that I cannot resolve. If the book I am citing has an editor (or editors) rather than an author, this information is repeated by Zotero citation before AND after the title. For example:

Joan Ockman, ed., Architecture Culture 1943-1968: A Documentary Anthology, ed. Joan Ockman (New York: Rizzoli, 1993), 114.

Any ideas why this is happening?
  • how does this look in your chrome pane:
    chrome://zotero/content/tools/csledit.xul
Which Chicago Style are you using.
    I can't reproduce that error.
  • I am using: Chicago Manual of Style (Note without Bibliography, No Ibid.)(dev)
  • Same error occurs in the chrome pane BTW
  • Do you have the latest version of the style?
  • I just tried reinstalling it from http://www.zotero.org/styles and refreshed my citations, but the error remains.
  • Can you reload chrome://zotero/content/tools/csledit.xul and view the citation again? With the latest version of the style I can't reproduce this error.
  • Right you are! I am no longer getting it in chrome either, since I updated the style. But it is still in the Word citations, even after I click Zotero refresh.
  • change the citation style in the document to something else, then change it back to CMOS.
  • Bingo--molte grazie, you two!
