Cannot connect for syncing - "Requested time out" message

I cannot connect to Zotero for syncing with zotero.org. When I try to connect, I have the following message: "Requested time out".
I've tried to have a Debug ID but I cannot either - the following message appears (in french): "Une erreur s'est produite lors de l'envoi du journal de débogage".
I'm sending to you by e-mail a text file with the output of the error.

  • Hi, I've verified following your "Connection Error" link, and this is not a problem with the proxy, the firewall or a certificate issue because my collegues in my institution do not have problems to connect to Zotero (and we have the same machines and network configuration).
    Can you help me?
  • No, sorry — it's by definition a problem on your computer, and the linked page explains how you or your IT department would have to debug it. There's nothing we can do about it on our end, since we have no idea how your computer and network are configured.

    If you email us debug output for Zotero startup, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option, we can tell you whether Zotero is trying to use a proxy, but that's about it.

    No general proxy or PAC file found -- assuming direct connection
    So if you need a proxy to connect to the internet, it's not being used. The Connection Error page explains why that might be and how to deal with it, but you may need to ask your IT department for help.
