Zotero doesn't sync any more

Hello,

i have a problem with zotero. It doesn't work any more. I can start the program and everything seems fine. I can see me shared group library. But it can't load the data. Also the synchronization doesn't work any more. No warnings or informations are shown. Only "Loading". Other members can work without any problems.

I have a new Apple MacBook 2021 (M1 !) (BigSur 11.1).

And I'm not sure if zotero already worked on this new MacBook ...

    Is this actually about syncing, or are you seeing "Loading items…" in the middle pane (which would be unrelated to syncing)?

    Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    Good question. It's about both. But I think the main problem is that I am seeing "Loading items" and nothing happens.
    When I try to sync everything it seems trying to sync, also nothing happens.

  • If you're only getting "Loading items…", it's not related to syncing. That would be a database problem.

    Check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.
  • Thank you very much. It seems like I solves the problem somehow.
    First I delated the Base directory completely.
    Then I delated zotero and did a new installation.

    I only used group libaries, so no data was lost.

    Don't know if this was all correct, but it worked.
