Zotero word plugin for Mac big sur

I have the latest version of Mac OS Big sur and the latest Microsoft Word that goes with it. The plugin just won't show up in the references tab on word, is anyone else having the same problems and did anyone manage to solve it??? Thanks!

It doesn't show up in the References tab — it's a separate Zotero tab in the ribbon.

Yes that's what I've heard but there's absolutely no sign of it, I've checked in the tools and add ons menu and it says word integration is enabled but still nothing
